You might want to compare this picture with an earlier one on the 2nd of the month. I probably did something silly like claim that it was the clearest view, like, ever.

Having spent all afternoon in the wonderful company of Mr Ean Peace, driving visitors around Sanday, I was quite surprised to receive a phone call later in the evening to tell me that it's a good night to see Fair Isle. 

He wasn't wrong.
