Begijnhof Breda

Visited the City of Breda in the province Brabant today and got the Grand Tour de Ville by the best guides I could imagine,… 
My youngest daughter and her 16 week old puppy dog!

One of the places we visited was this Begijnhof - a courtyard for single ladies founded in 1267 and therefor the oldest of its sort in Holland.

The 29 current houses were built in the 17th century around the central herb garden. It's a true oasis in the centre of the city, worth while a visit whenever in the neighborhood.
