Fantastic News!

Today we received fantastic news. Six months ago Adam received an offer to read Natural Sciences at Cambridge University, but they made a very tough offer of four A*'s which is just about impossible to achieve. This morning he got his A level results and he achieved five A*'s and has had his place at Cambridge University confirmed. I never thought that he would do it....

When we got home yesterday Adam got a phone call from school to ask him to come in today for a top achiever's photo. The school get the results before the candidates, so that should have been a clue, but I thought perhaps they only phoned him as they could not get hold of anyone else. I have spent the last six months worrying and now it is over.

We are immensely proud of him!
