The Mystery Tree

On Tuesday I blipped the catkins of what I have always thought was a tortured fig in my garden.

Several more horticulturally inclined blippers have cast some doubt on whether it is indeed a fig.

I tried googling "tortured fig" but when the third result was Torture-isbi-Polaroidblipfoto that wasn't much help.

So, with nothing else to blip today, I have attempted a picture of the whole tree, which wasn't easy to photograph, just in case someone can identify it.
