Our Thursday date of shopping and lunch, today at Kishi, Kalamunda's very own TINY Sushi Bar. Tiny it is with cozy seating for a squeezy 17 and an entrance so quiet folk wander by it daily and don't realise there is morsel magic within. They have acquired an equally tiny space next door which will eventually become a bar.
Extra photo is of Jino, owner and chef, after presenting a delicious sashimi plate with REAL wasabi (not the tubey green stuff which is mainly horseradish).
Jino also hosts guests at a Ryokan and yes amazingly here in Kalamunda! A traditional Japanese Inn (aka b&b) and high on my 'local' bucket list to stay at.
