Magpie Feather...

...I think?

I found this pretty feather near the canal in Milton Keynes, I believe it might be from a magpie.

There are lots of superstitions around magpies, many people in the UK will say good morning Mr Magpie to a single Magpie, implying he has a wife, as seeing a single magpie is supposed to bring joy as opposed to sorrow (as per the popular rhyme) or bad luck.  Other preventative actions to avoid bad luck should you see a lone magpie include spitting 3 times over your shoulder, or flapping your wings and cawing to imitate the bird's missing mate!   Ummm...!
