Sensible

I know I'm really lucky to be able to manage my work with plenty of time to spare but it's still felt a treat having Wednesdays to myself in the holidays. I've cancelled dog training until September and therefore been able to take mid-week breaks with the van when The Lakes are just a little quieter.

So, today, with a beautiful forecast, I've driven up to Crummock Water. I was thinking of doing a Wainright on the west side of the lake but in the end took plan B and mooched along the lakeside, playing in the water with Little Dog. We had a blast!  Here's CJ right after she pounced on the Lake District's famous golden panther.

It did look a lovely walk up there but I'm  saving my knees for tomorrow. Sensible.
