Basking Sharks, Puffins and Staffa

Playing Russian roulette with the weather forecasts , we booked a boat trip to the Treshnish Islands including Staffa with the famous Fingal's Cave which is awe inspiring and landing on Lunga which involves a scramble ashore to spend a wonderful 2 hours of puffin therapy! They come so close and are delightful; - I dosed off on the cliffs for a while to awake to a little group of puffins around me - my gentle snores hopefully disguised by their endearing grunts!
This had to be my favourite day of the holiday.

Weather was fabulous too!!!
