In a few days' time . . . . .

In a few days' time these chrysanthemums in the garden centre will be a blaze of colour. It seems no time at all since it was summer flowers set out for us, now we are anticipating the autumn. Chrysanthemums are the smell of autumn.

We have had twenty four hours of rain now and the grass is greening up. A very wet morning was a good time to play Mah-Jong but I had disastrous hands and ended up owing points all round. A good job we don't play for money.
