Water Witch - Lancaster

Of course the canal isn't all rural as it links the industrial parts of Lancashire. So we passed through Lancaster in both directions. The Water Witch pub is located at the old stables where horses were kept for the passenger boats that ran from Preston to Kendal. On the other bank is one of the many sanitary stations where there are toilets, showers and places to empty the chemical loos!
