Back in 1952...

The war was over and life was just settling down for the family. Food was still on rations and electricity? Well we were just glad to catch The Archers on the wireless for an hour before it went off.

Dad would come home from work and Stoke the fire whilst mum baked bread and me? Well I just had my puzzle and what a toughie it was too.
