Playing Gooseberry

Yesterday, I picked our gooseberries - all 13.5lbs of them.

So today I was busy top-and-tailing, cooking (in usable batches) 2 x 1lb and 2 x 2lb now in boxes in the freezer. I have 3lb raw in the frig 'til I think what to do with them, 2½lb went in a crumble for today and tomorrow's tea and almost 2lb given to my neighbour because I have nowhere to store any more.

Meanwhile the Flumlet is celebrating his birthday having fun with B&S, looking forward to his party on Saturday.
