Back from a trip

So, I'm posting this a few days late but this past weekend, my family and I went backpacking. We drove up to artist point and hiked with our stuff down to Mazama Lake where we spent 2 nights. On the middle day we hiked along the Tarmigan Ridge trail but didn't make it all the way along due to the threat of rain.
When the rain did come we ended up taking shelter in one of the tents and played card games. As it turned out, the weather decided to favor us and gave us a beautiful day for our hike out. The picture above is of dad when we were walking out. The lake is one of the many azure lakes we passed on our way up the saddle between mt. Shukson and mt. Baker. At the top we had lunch with a wonderful view before finishing our hike back to to the car.
