Auld Girth

Three thoughts came from this sign.

The first was that I am glad I'm not camping today as the weather is set to be one of torrential storms in contrast to yesterday's lovely weather.

The second was that although the red squirrel is to be found in the woods close by I have yet to see one in this location. I have however been fortunate enough to see them on 2 other occasions.

The third thought is that the midge is not so elusive, although this year they have not been so abundant and I have only been bitten once so far.
