Irresistable

Against all the odds it didn't rain on Village Day! It was very blustery and some organisations had trouble holding down their gazebos, but the clouds scudded across the sky to deposit their load elsewhere. The theme was "The Olympians" and in the procession the children were dressed with laurel wreaths and olympic rings. The jazz band played, the flags fluttered in the wind and the parents cheered - it was an old fashioned day of fun.

As usual the WI stall groaned with its load of home baked cakes which sold out rapidly.

All profits from the day go to the Community Association.
