Sunshine colour for a wet day

This is the only poppy that still has petals after last night's downpours! I think it must have just bloomed today. it is still raining on & off ..... but thankfully not as heavy!

I thought it's sunny colour would cheer up a grey, wet day ...... not as clear as I would have liked ...... but it was waving around in the breeze!

The little Sparrow with the damaged wing (yesterday's blip) is still hanging around in the garden ....... so I guess it managed to survive the night :-)
