Quarry Bank

On the way back from Manchester this afternoon, we called at Quarry Bank, one of Britain's greatest industrial heritage sites in Styal.

We took a walk around the old cotton mill, which is powered by the largest waterwheel in Europe and and saw some demonstrations of how cotton is made into cloth.
