It's all very complicated ...

I shall probably spend the six weeks until mum's assessment to go into residential care, madly wavering.

She's been reasonably chirpy today, as so many people tell me that their elderly parents stopped eating and it just seems to be part of the progress of the creeping dementia, I wondered if I could cope if I just didn't get wound up about it.

Mum's financial advisor came today and suggested I just try to get mum into a home asap ...  and it really panicked me!
