Edinburgh

Day trip to Edinburgh.
Drove from Drymen to Stirling. Train from Stirling to Edinburgh, then another train to Brunstane to visit good friends Jools, Niamh & Mabel the dog, (although I knew I would only get to see Niamh on this trip as Jools was away in Ireland at a conference).
They moved up here from Knutsford Cheshire last year and are enjoying their new home (mansion!) and the gorgeous sea views and beach on their doorstep.
Train back to Edinburgh to eat with LB and a few of her family & friends. Vegan haggis - Yummy!!
Then an evening stroll through the streets and along the Royal Mile to soak up the festival atmosphere of the Fringe.
Last train home and a sleepy LB. x
