Baby Grebe At Bethany Lake

Today was cloudy and we had a few showers, but .01 inches of rain is NOT ENOUGH!!  Took a nice walk at Bethany Lake, and the usual suspects were out and about.  Thought this baby grebe was so cute!  There were several young boys fishing at the lake, and they were fun to watch...so intent on getting a fish (they could see them, but they weren't biting)!

There are some lovely community gardens at the park, and the plots are full of ripe tomatoes and produce....but the sunflowers were my favorite (see my extra photo).
