Bleu Lavande

We went to visit a loved one’s graveside today, as it would have been their birthday.   I always  remember, fondly giving her a few Orchids from my garden, so each year, I now place a few orchid stems on her grave.
 

I consider a cemetery a place of tranquility and enjoy wandering around,   I happened to pass one of the most beautiful lavender bushes I’ve ever seen,  a solitary bee was hovering, collecting its pollen.  I thought this image was apt, as lavender is often thought to have magical properties and its oil is frequently used to calm and help promote a peaceful sleep.
