Mute swan

Stopped at the pond this morning to watch this solitary swan (and a duck who then proceeded to rudely fly away, and not without a struggle because of very strong winds). The swan approached immediately and I felt bad because I hadn't taken any bread or lettuce (just poo bags). Will do so tomorrow. Having checked the suitability of bread, it seems they also like spinach and potatoes.
