A gloriously sunny day, why did our game of golf have to be rained off yesterday?!

I brought some preparation work with me and got on with that in the peace and quiet today. Decided some fresh air would be good before lunch so took Mum for a walk in Temple Newsam. 

The sun had brought the people out. The car parks were packed and people were enjoying the grounds and having their picnic. There was also an event on, raising money for St Gemma's Hospice. It included a classic car show so we had a wander round that. Lots of great cars. I've added one extra as I loved the number plate. Mum found one like their old car! 

I will need to head home later today, the mini escape has come to an end ... but the next Great escape is only 12 sleeps away!
