Soller

A trip through the mountain tunnel to Soller (5 euros each way- and we thought the Forth road Bridge used to be expensive!), although guide book suggests driving over the mountain on narrow roads but no one trusted my driving.

Soller is gorgeous and very hot.  A magnificent cathedral and ice cream is only a Euro a scoop.

Soller has delightful wooden trams running from the top of the town to the beach right through the town square.  Old wooden Los Angeles rolling stock.  Much more enchanting than the Edinburgh trams (and a darn sight cheaper!)

Just finished reading 'All the light we cannot see' 9.5/10 - will bring tears to your eyes.  Poetically written story that will undoubtedly be made into a movie. A 'must read' (and I rarely give a book more than 9/10).
