Sailing at Gurnard
Gurnard (named after the fish that is found in these waters) is the village before Cowes, I decided to take my parents out to lunch there as it has been quite a hard few weeks for us all one way or another. My Dad had a fall 2 weeks ago and has a cracked rib, and he is not the best patient, so my Mum has borne the brunt of it. I thought a bit of a treat for them would be nice.
Gurnard is also on the sea, I got there about 45 minutes before my parents so Daisy could have a walk and so I could take some photos. There were lots of boats on the water and lots of different races. I like the colourful spinnakers of these boats, and the way that the wind was just starting to fill some.
