Day 7 - rest day - Fougères

 Fougères is a medieval town, so after a slow start we went and looked at the castle, learning about murder holes and the best way round to build your spiral staircase (so that you are defending with your strong hand, or something, I didn't really get it).

A late start led to a late lunch, coffee and post-card writing. Marc and Dicon manfully went and did the shopping while Leila and I looked at maps. Supper was followed by a tipsy wander around the campsite last thing (ask Leila about the slide)..
