Peanuts Fight

There is a big flock of jays right now that like to jockey around for the peanuts. In and out they swoop and have mock battles in the air while somebody else grabs a nut or two. I really love watching them. I took this out of the kitchen window so it's not the sharpest photo in the world, but it will do for today. 

Our friend C came over last night. I invited her when I heard about her situation at home. I knew she needed a night away. She gladly came and we had a great time together. Today Arvin and I will meet Helena at the Farmer's Market to pick up this month's fish and gather in some good fruit and veggies. Not sure what we'll be doing for the rest of the day.
