Read a' aboot it.

A quiet start in Kirkwall today - even before it got damp there wasn’t many folk going about; and then the rain and dreichy and dark way came.  And didn’t stop for a while.  But we have a beautiful evening.  CMC made a few jars of beetroot chutney, we still have a few of the 2014 batch to get through, but it’s going to be a long winter.  Sadly CMC’s mother called off her visit to the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra (tonight in the Picky) with my mum and CMC and a.n. other.  I have been left at home in the Freak Zone.
