Artichoke

We spent some time on the allotment this morning, digging the Pink Fir Apple potatoes. It was a much better crop than last year. They were introduced from France in 1850 and are very knobbly and tasty. Also picked more French beans and yet more courgettes!  This is the artichokes and the picture is especially for C (from OCQ), who doesn't blip but follows me and another. As you can see they do get big but are so magnificent.

We have done the last of our camping shopping ready for next Friday. Other than that just domestic stuff accomplished today. Oh and getting caught up on here - sorry for the lack of comments I have no excuses!
