Golden eagle on P1½

A poor turnout from the public - only 4 visitors today - to see the Golden Eagle today at Haweswater. We found the lone male bird just after arriving at "jagged rocks" at the back of Riggindale. After a couple of hours he flew to perch 1½ where he remained (in picture) until nearly the end of our stint as volunteer wardens.
Also saw a nice gold ringed dragonfly - in extra photos.
