Festival Time

It's festival time in Edinburgh. This afternoon we went to an excellent event at the book festival with Jackie Kay, Maggie O'Farrell and Sarah Waters. They were, as you would imagine, just great. Then we went for something to eat and a slow wander back through Princes Street Gardens for the train. Luckily we got a seat. Everywhere is so busy in August. The light was perfect on the Scott Monument and the Eye at the end of the day
