I get by with a little help from my friends

We managed to get little un in the bath this morning ... result!

I'd managed to get her out of her PJs and running around like nature intended... when we then enticed her to the baby bath with the use of some squirty friends,  (another lovely present) after I demonstrated paddling in the bath, she had a go, and before we knew it she was sat down...  we didn't push the hair washing thing,  but just let her get used to splashing around a bit... when we will next manage to replicate this miracle I have no idea... but for now she smells better... 

This afternoon, we went out in the car, to a cafe with a play park... travel there and back was fine, no tantrums... Me and Dave got to have a bit of tea and cake, whilst she sat on my knee and scoffed some yogurt fruit things (sugary baby crack with packaging that makes it look healthy) we then burnt off all the sugar as she went running around and climbing and going whizzing down slides... for such a tiddler she's got a lot of nerve and determination, and isn't phased by bigger kids jumping around,  in fact she's sociable and curious, it's lovely to watch...

A few pain in the bum moments today, a bit of a tussle around bedtime... I took a tv remote control to the face this evening (in fairness it was a swing demanding attention rather than deliberately going for an attack) and there were a few other choice moments throughout the day... but on the whole... 
washed, dressed,  ate another egg, went out in the car peacefully in both directions, played, giggled, chattered and made both of us laugh with her.  

All normal family stuff, we're definitely beginning to feel more at home with each other...
