Speckled Bush Cricket

This Jiminy Cricket was enjoying scrambling around the new growth of the rose bush.  Every time I went to focus  its green body and long legs swung round to the other side of the stem and leaf.

A pleasant day after yesterday's rain.  We managed to do some gardening and this evening we went over to our other neighbours for an enjoyable drink and catch-up.
