"Flags Of Many Nations"

My son is here for the weekend and today we have been sorting out his stuff in my loft to make room for some of Mum's things that I want to keep.

One gem is The Book of Knowledge Volume 8 (I wish that the other volumes were there!) It appears to have been written in the late 1930's though there is no date. This is one of the pages of flags - European and African states. It is very interesting to see some of the flags from those days, especially Germany. It also gives the 1936 Berlin Olympic results with Jesse Owens winning the 100 and 200 metre races.
