Dancing in the Streets
Falkirk's first home league game of the new season and our visitors were Raith Rovers. It was a good, entertaining, end-to-end game in the Westfield sunshine with Falkirk having the best of the, admittedly few, chances on goal.
The game changed when Raith had a man sent off 20 minutes from time. Falkirk sensed the chance for victory and a Mark Kerr goal ten minutes later was enough to secure three points for the Bairns.
It was a good three points for Falkirk as Raith Rovers looked a good side and could have grabbed an equaliser in a frantic finish to the match. But there would be no "dancing in the streets of Raith" this evening.
