Almost Spring

Over twenty-five years ago my late husband organised the whole  street to plant a tree outside our homes on the grass verge.
We chose this very early flowering prunus and it is a joy when the whole hill is in flower. A true herald of spring.
Bigger frontages have two.At moment only two or three small flowers out on each tree in another  few weeks the full length of the hill street will be very colourful.
Grey day and apart from going to church have not done much. Am going to sit down now and watch the final of the world netball tournament played in Australia. The final is between Australia and NZ. Go the Silver Ferns
