REEDMACE (Typha latifolia)
We did the dog walk across the fields this morning. The photo is of reedmace growing in a ditch. This plant is often referred to as bulrush, but the bulrush is actually a type of sedge.
We had a stroll around the local garden centre, looking for ideas for shrubs to plant in the autumn, to replace ones we lost in the replacing of the fence.
We walked the dogs in the evening and met the lady who looks after them when we go away. Ralph and Snoop Dog got very excited.
