Mute Swan

The Swan is a British waterways favourite, such an elegant bird as it glides effortlessly on its way, with its black, powerful webbed feet paddling away under the water. This Swan is in 'display mode' with his wings raised as he has a family of cygnets to protect. You can also clearly see his ringed leg as he is a protected bird, I think I am right in thinking all Swans belong to the Queen?
