Posing Pair

My main submission for today is another lorikeet pic:

 Brightr and bettr on Flickr.

Soligor 1:2.8 35mm; f5.6 I think, on Pentax K-30.

But in the spirit of testing/evaluating the lens, I shot a dandelion clock at every full aperture stop:

Wide open it’s still sharp, where it’s in focus, but there’s not much in focus wide open at MFD. ;) It remains surprisingly good throughout, I think. The exposures get brighter as the lens stops down as well, which is interesting.
