stormy sky sunday

Lovely blue skies first thing but they soon darkened so this made for some dramatic photos as we walked round RHS Hyde Hall this morning! this is taken in their famous dry garden and it is always lovely seeing the different range of  plants there that cope with the drought like conditions we often have in Essex

They still have their Alice in Wonderland displays around the garden too so it's great seeing all the children following the clues to find the different characters. Added two extra photos of the fun Alice topiary just as you approach the Hyde Hall entrance

We also stopped at a nearby garden centre for a spot of lunch and loved seeing the planted up boat by their entrance! Tempted to try and recreate it, if only I had a spare boat lying about!!
