unpredictable

Wildlife is so unpredictable, yesterday I blipped an osprey taking fish, something I wanted to see  and never thought I would. That's why today I had booked to go to a fisheries near Rutland where they regularly go to feed. I got there at 5am and at 6am the only osprey to feed came in without notice from behind us hit the water with his back to us and promptly flew away. Last nights display was far better !  At 6 am it was dusk and the photos were not as I'd hoped but there's one in extra to give you a taste of what was still a dramatic sight.

For the next hour or so the fish that were being stolen entertained me by jumping around.
