Cannon Hall for lunch...

...it's nice to go on a walk with a purpose! 
Met Sue & Mike in Cawthorne, and had a walk through the grounds of Cannon Hall. It was still and quiet when we first got there, but by the time we left it was heaving - we did manage to fit in an early lunch while we could still get a seat in the cafe though!
Called in to the house to look at the Downton Abbey exhibition - see extra - and I'm looking forward to the new ( and sadly last ) series already! Barnsley Council run the museum, and so far entry is free.  There were certainly lots of folk looking around today - a bit of a coup to get the Downton costumes, I'd say.
