Bollywood Comes To Loughborough

Busy sorting out stuff for camping trip today, which required a trip to Sainsbury's.

This gave me an excellent opportunity to pop into the town centre to view the Loughborough Mela, an annual extravaganza of South Asian music, dance and song. It was very colourful and joyous. I'm glad it wasn't raining as I think the dancers might have had problems with the temporary stage surface outdoors.

I'd have liked to stay longer but Sainsbury's only permits two hours free parking and I wanted to take advantage of not having Basil with me to take a latte in Caffe Nero, as well as do the shopping.
