Mum's been fine today - had a shower and hair wash with no whinging and has eaten a very modest amount of cereal and half a sandwich.

I may need to compile a score sheet! I keep wondering if she returned home from hospital with some sort of bug (in spite of the GP saying she was hale and hearty) Who knows?
