Home of the Catseye Man.

This is Boothtown Mansion in Halifax,  the home of Percy Shaw O.B.E. for all but the first two years of his 86 year life,
Percy Shaw was the man who invented the Reflecting Roadstud - better known as  "The Catseye"
He became eccentric in later life, removing the carpets and much of the furniture from his home, and keeping three televisions running constantly (respectively tuned to BBC1, BBC2 and ITV, all with the sound turned down) with a fourth with BBC2 in colour (the only channels available at that time).
This is a private house, so I did not venture further.
