Black Headed Gull (Chroicocephalus ridibundus)

Popped up to Croxall Lakes, right next to the National Arboretum. I was buzzed by these chaps who were protecting their chicks.

If those of you in the West Midlands were up for it the Arboretum would be a great place for a blip meet. Plenty of subject matter. I visited it a few years ago and it was pretty sparse but it has come on leaps and bounds since.
