Union Canal Towpath, Meggetland
Another hurried blip on the way to a hill walking extravaganza.
The lure of a train ride, a Munro and a nip of Dalwhinnie malt whisky proved too much. Bod and Val were due to due their 282nd and final Munro at Beinn Na Lap. RV was Bridge of Orchy station to catch the 1048 to Corrour (along with about 50 others) and climb said hill (along with their 6 year old grandson Cameron who was aiming for his first Munro - a nice symmetry about it)
So after depositing the boys back at their mother's, I rescued Barry from a bus stop in Granton, and nabbed this one before heading off up the A82.
Looked a bit 'walk of shame' territory this one; not sure why they were walking so early in the morning. Hey - it's festival season. Anything's possible.
