The Harvest

No matter what else has been a problem this summer, our vines in the conservatory have not.

All three have fruited and the oldest, the Black Hamburg (often known as Frankenthaler) , has produced more bunches of grapes than ever before. and all are heavy and full     This is the vine that several times we thought we had lost and which I have blipped often before.  

In contrast the soft fruit in the garden , on canes and bushes that are I have to admit are  much neglected, has come to very little but we did have some tonight and - for the first time - and I am using the new  "extra photos" option on Blipfoto  to show that too.
