Gladhouse Reservoir

A long and arduous cycle ride with the Belles all the way to Gladhouse Reservoir in Midlothian. That's halfway to Peebles, since you ask. 76 kms and 500 m of climb. I'm a bit pooped now.

A fine day for it - not too hot, not too cold. No rain. And no head winds. We sat amongst the wild flowers at the reservoir to have our picnic.

So while it was probably a bit more arduous than the previous trip to Gifford, in fact I'm in better shape this evening than I was that time.
