We meet again

We were on our morning climb to the top of Hookney Tor and it looked as if we were to be all alone on the summit today, when suddenly they were they all around us. We all stood still while they sniffed the air then slowly  moved forward and continued with their grazing. Jinxy and Mrs M stood back while I was able to move around them,  In all there were about 12 ponies including foals and and one white mare who proceeded to lay down on the grass.

These special occasions have occurred on several times now and  and it certainly seems that the ponies have a special  affinity with this place
